What is a chatbot?

Un chatbot is an online chat interface powered by an automated system. The "chatbot" can thus answer questions from internet users and consumers thanks to algorithms capable of understanding and processing questions in natural language.

Un smartbot is a chatbot equipped with an "intelligent" algorithm that will be more proactive and capable of providing much more personalized answers, suggestions, or recommendations by relying on natural language processing (NLP) algorithms and more substantial data histories, most often thanks to the contribution of a CDP which will form the basis of the smartbot's knowledge base.
